About the "cool crowd"
Maynard-Fixturcraft has a long and distinguished history of service. The company was established by Henry Horrell in 1938 as a refrigeration service company. During World War II, the company was incorporated as Horrell Refrigeration. For the next twenty five years this organization operated continuously and served the supermarket and convenience store industries.
Horrell Refrigeration was purchased by Robert P. Maynard on Feburary 1, 1971, and the corporate name was changed to Maynard Food Store Equipment. The new organization continued to design, sell, install, and service food store equipment. In 1986, the company expanded into the heating and air conditioning industry, establishing separate sales, installation, and service departments. In August 1991, the company purchased the assets of Fixturcraft and the corporate name was changed to Maynard-Fixturcraft, Inc. This purchase expanded the company's product line again because of Fixturcraft's strong customer following in the field of restaurant equipment. Since the 1991, the company has purchased an additional 10 medium size companies.
Presenty, "the cool crowd" pursues business in the fields of food store equipment, commercial refrigeration, commercial and residential air conditioning, and restaurant equipment. |
